Final project

  1. Great project. And am also starting to train for a marathon. It seems like a daunting task in the beginning, but if you break it down into training sessions, weekly mileage goals, cross train to avoid injury and burnout, and give yourself enough time to adapt to the type of event it is totally achievable! I like how you were specific in how many days and the amount of time you are going to set aside for each practice. I find that it helps to keep a journal or weekly planner to jot down everything I do each day. That way I can go back and see my progress and add new stuff to my regime. You have some really great ideas and I hope they propel you to achieve all of your goals. We should stay in touch...I would love to hear how you did with your marathon!

  2. You have a great plan worked out and it is very motivating to just read about it. Which marathon are you targeting for fall? I find once I register for the race then I have my goal and time frame in front of me and it tends to set it all in motion. Journal keeping is also a great resource I like to go back and read my notes and watch the progress as my endurance builds. Good Luck.
